What it uses
- Approximate location, once, to decide what kind of place your village grows in. You can refuse and still play.
- An email address, only if you choose to sign in so villages follow you to a new phone. Optional, unlocks nothing.
- Your saved villages, so they survive reinstalling.
What it does not use
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics SDKs and no third party trackers.
- No contacts, photos, microphone or precise location.
This website
This page reads your browser's time zone and clock to pick which island to draw. That happens on your own device. It is not sent anywhere and no cookies are set.
Services behind it
Supabase for sign in and saves. Anthropic's Claude API, called only from our own server, to write the village and its people. Open-Meteo and OpenStreetMap for weather and place names. Apple for purchases. None receive an advertising profile of you.
Deleting everything
Avatar at the top right of the game, then Delete account at the bottom. It removes your villages and your sign in record. Or write to us and we do it for you.

Star Isles is a game, offered as it is. Play it, and please do not try to break it for other people.
Your villages
What you build is yours. We store it so you can get it back. We do not train on it and do not sell it.
Generated content
Village text, villagers and Workshop shapes are generated the moment you ask. They are simple blocks and are not copies of any real building or brand. If something looks wrong, use Report inside the game.
Purchases
Stardust packs are consumables sold through Apple. Stardust is also earned by playing, so nothing is locked behind a purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Real places
The game refers to real cities and geography. It is a game, not a map, and should not be used to navigate.

Worth trying first
- Village did not generate: allow location for Star Isles in Settings, then pull down to refresh.
- Changed phones and the village is gone: sign in with the same email or Apple ID as before.
- Sign in code has not arrived: wait a minute and check spam. It comes from noreply@starisles.app.
- A purchase did not land: open the Stardust store and tap Restore purchases.
